Labels!

I've looked into labels before, but they only came in big quantities and I didn't want that.
so, after seeing these on an UH-mazing blog {just lovely things}, I knew I HAD to try it!

and let me tell ya, this stuff is awesome!!!!!!

it prints right on there like regular paper, but takes a few minutes to dry.

but I just printed the font, not the colors of my shop/blog because those are subject to change, the font won't change {at least for a long while!}

basically, you buy the stuff.
print it.
cut it.
and iron it.

and walah!

awesome right?!?!

hope you're having a great week!

instagram

I love photography, if you didn't know.

but I have a dilemma. I don't usuallay carry my HUGORMOUS nikon E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E.

that, my bloggy friends, is where my phone comes in.

more specifically, instagram

I've taken a bazillion pictures using it and I loooooooooove it.

It basically gives you photoshop-like affects, right then and there.

Here are just three pictures I took recently...

It even makes a wagon full of oranges look cool.
(heheh ;)

i'm introducing this {awesome} app to you because these are the pictures you'll usually get.

on a side note: isn't the flower gorgeous?!?!?!?! there's a whole tree of them that bloom at this season and i. love. them.

have a fabulous wednesday!

Turban Headband Tutorial

A few weeks ago I saw this "turban headband" on Much Love, Illy and loved it!

Want to make your own?

Here's how!

Supplies:

old shirt (preferably knit, but you can use cotton too)
Scissors
Sewing Machine

Here's my old shirt:

however wide you want your headband, cut out twice that.

Remember to cut out 2 strips or it won't fit around your head!

Fold right sides together and sew all the way down.

Should be inside out, turn it right side out (is that even a correct term? :P)

Ok, this is where it gets a little confusing, if you have any questions, comment or email me :)

Take both ends and follow directions below:

Sew ends down, so that the "knot" will stay.

It really is super easy and SUPER CUTE!!!

Simple but so cute!

Let me know if you try it!

BTW - I just updated the About Me! page, it was pretty boring.... :)
